I have come across this advice about accepting the bald look, and that’s okay if you have the head for it. Personally, I don’t have the head for it. My head not properly shaved and I get all kinds of comments when I get a low hair cut(irrespective of the barber). The only hair cut/style that works for my head is a an Afro(I’m African America). Now with baldness setting it, I’m really anxious about what I look like in future. I am currently taking propecia and using Minoxidil but it does not seem to help the frontal hairloss. I am considering a hair transplant but I have ITP(low platelets) so that complicates my problem. I also understand that the curly hair of black people makes it a little more difficult to work with than people with straight hair. Any, my anxiety levels are at all time high, and my dating life is non-existant…and I’m 34. It sucks!
