    Rohit,

Hair loss is caused by a variety of different factors, including genetics. At your age (and if you have any hair loss in your family) it’s very possible that the loss is due to your “genes.”

My first suggestion would be to visit a dermatologist or hair restoration physician and undergo a thorough evaluation of your scalp (http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/hair-loss-doctors.asp). If the physician does indeed think you’re suffering from male patten baldness (genetic hair loss) I definitely recommend looking into proven, preventive measures like minoxidil/Rogaine (https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/category/ROGA/Rogaine-Products/) and finasteride/Propecia (https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/product/PROF/PropeciaFinasteride/). I hope this helps!

    Richard,

While there may be a number of factors that contribute to hair loss, in 90% of cases, it is caused by androgenic alopecia or genetic balding. This is a progressive condition.

What is interesting is that you are also reporting loss of body hair which does not normally accompany male pattern balding. You may be experiencing another condition known as alopecia universalis which leads to loss of all head and body hair.

I highly recommend consulting with a dermatologist specializing in hair loss. If what you are experiencing is normal male pattern balding then you may benefit from Rogaine (minoxidil) and Propecia (finasteride)

Will it ever stop – I ask myself that all the time, but I have almost given up hope. For women it’s not comfort to be told “you won’t go bald” – once it gets to a certain point, it doesn’t matter if you still have some hair left on your head – it’s not enough.

Has anyone tried laser hair therapy? I have been using the lasercap for just over 2 months now and have gotten good results. In just 2 weeks I noticed that my hair was shinier and bouncier and now am seeing new short hairs growing in around my hairline. I am no longer self conscious about my hair and am sleeping better as well.
