More Than One Hair Transplant Needed?
Today’s surgical hair restoration procedures under the care of a skilled physician can grow natural looking hair in thinning and completely bald areas. But how many hair transplant procedures will it take to get your hair back? How much hair can be restored and will it provide you with a “full” head of hair? Why do some physicians offer a “one pass procedure” while others can accomplish the same goals in two?
The answers to these questions lies in the specifics of each surgeon’s ability and philosophy along with a patient’s genetic makeup and scalp/hair attributes. However, for those with or at great risk for advanced hair loss, more than one hair transplant is usually needed to achieve a natural looking and cosmetically pleasing result.
