Is it Possible to use Someone Else’s Donor Hair for a Hair Transplant?
Is it possible to use someone else’s donor hair for a hair transplant to correct my hair loss condition?
I’m sorry to say that this is not possible, at least, not at this time.
Studies have been conducted by some hair restoration physicians but it has been found that the transplanted hair does not grow when donor hair is borrowed from another patient. The body rejects it, similarly as to how a body might reject a transplanted organ. The only possibility of this working might be if you borrowed donor hair from an identical twin. Of course, since he / she would have the same balding as you, they would most likely want to use their hair for their very own hair transplant.
