Can I Hide Evidence of My Hair Transplant When Returning to Work?
This question, from a member of our hair loss social community and discussion forums, was answered by Coalition hair transplant surgeon Dr. Carlos Wesley:
Will I be able to conceal my hair transplant from my coworkers?
Patients are often pleasantly surprised to learn during their initial consultation that our practice does not require patients to shave their heads. In general, patients should be able to return to work or social activities in 7-10 days after surgical hair restoration without evidence of the procedure being noticeable.
Another trick that a few patients use is to temporarily grow out facial hair. That way, when they return to work, people are initially a bit distracted by their temporary new look (beard or mustache).
