1.The only hair transplant surgeon in India recommended by the Hair Transplant Network is Dr. Pathuri Madhu of Hyderabad.

2.While the standard micro “follicular unit” hair transplant does produce natural looking results, its ability to achieve high density in only one surgical session is limited. Thus patients may have to do subsequent surgical sessions in a transplanted area to achieve a full look.

Hair transplant surgeons have evolved this follicular unit procedure into a highly refined procedure that is minimally invasive and enables the follicular unit grafts to be placed very close together. This new “ultra refined” procedure enables patients to achieve cosmetic density in a given area in one surgical session, while experiencing rapid healing.

    3. Clinics typically charge per graft. A graft can contain anywhere from 1 to 4 hairs. Prices vary from clinic to clinic but average between $4 and $6 per graft for FUT (strip surgery).

    4. In the hands of a skilled and experienced physician the average patient can normally expect over 90% growth.

    5. A skilled and artistic surgeon will place the hair to follow the direction of growth of the natural hair.

    6. This will vary but a 2,000 graft surgery will take roughly 6 to 8 hours.

    7. Hair transplants should be space about one year apart. It’s best to do as many as your physician feels is safe and necessary for a desirable appearance. You doctor can help you formulate a long-term plan that fits withing your schedule and budget.

    I want the following answers.

1.As I am based in Chennai (INDIA) I want to know which is the nearest centre for hair grafting.

2.What is Ultra Refined Follicular Unit Grafting or is there any other method used for grafting.

3.,What is the cost per graft.? Are the charges per graft based on number of hair (In the root) per graft or number of hair per graft is immaterial.

    4. What is the success ratio of the grafted hair.

    5. Since the graft is taken from the back of the head and implanted in front, does the orientation of hair go back to the natural combing of the hair.

    6. How long do we have to be in the clinic lets say for 2000 Follicular transplants.

    7. Can the grafting be done in piece meal : lets say 1000 in December and 2000 after 3 months./or should it be done in one go.

I will appreciated if I could get answers for above questions during the webinar today

    Thanks
