Can a man with extensive hair loss benefit from Hair Transplantation?

Is it possible for someone who has extensive hair loss (a 7 on the Nordwood hair loss scale) to be successful in a hair transplant? I seem to have quite a bit of donor hair. I am not looking for the hair of a 20 year old but something that would look decent for a 58 year old man. I don’t mind looking my age.

But typically men with extensive hairloss will not have enough donor hair to restore the crown/back of the head area.
