I am an 18 year old male and I don’t really suffer from any hair loss.   But 2 years ago, I had an accident that involved brain surgery and left 24 stitches on the front of my scalp.   I want to know if I can have a hair transplant in the area where I lost my hair after the operation.   Thanks.

Firstly, I am glad to hear that you are ok and have recovered from your accident.

Hair restoration surgery is certainly possible however, there are a number of things to consider.   The primary consideration at this point is given your young age of 18, the risk of hair loss is still very high.   Depending on where your injury and loss of hair resides from brain surgery may impact  a surgeon’s choice to operate on you at your very young age.

Given the complexity of your situation, I recommend consulting with an elite hair transplant surgeon  who can evaluate your situation and work toward restoring your hair safely.
