Recent Survey from the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS)

Statistics reveal that by the age of 50, 40 to 50 percent of men and women will suffer from hair loss.   95% of these men and women are suffering from Androgenetic Alopecia or hereditary hair loss.   Therefore it is not surprising to learn that hair transplantation has increased in popularity over the last several years.  

Hair transplantation is a relatively minor outpatient procedure that moves hair from the donor area (the sides and back of one’s head) to the recipient area (the balding areas).   Hair Transplantation is both available for men and women depending on whether or not they are a good candidate.
