What will the day after hair transplantation surgery be like? I’m traveling and would like to get out for a bit before I go home however, I want to know if surgery will prevent me from getting out of the hotel room?
The day after a hair transplant is no walk in the park but it is far from debilitating.
Expect a good amount of soreness in the donor region the next day or two after a hair transplant – however, getting out of the hotel room and doing some sight seeing certainly will not be harmful. Be careful however, not to bump your head and rest as needed. Be sure also to follow the hair transplant doctor’s postoperative instructions and take any pain medication as needed and directed.
Personally speaking my first day post-op from my third surgery with Dr. Hasson was spent in the airport all day. I certainly had no problems functioning though after awhile I just was tired of airports and wanted to be home resting. Of course, this would probably have been true whether or not I had surgery 🙂
