Pimples on my Head 1 Month After Hair Transplant

Pimples
Pimples after a hair transplant may occur on the recipient area (the balding area where hairs were transplanted). This is normal and should not cause any major discomfort. To the touch, a pimple may be a bit sore (as with a pimple anywhere else on your body). If pimples do appear, they typically do so starting around one month after hair transplant surgery. Many hair transplant patients have reported pimples appearing for months after surgery. It is thought that pimples occur due to fragments of skin or hair that may have been caught beneath the skin’s surface. Therefore this is a good sign of hair growth to come!
Tea Tree oil may be considered to help treat the pimples. A warm damp cloth applied to the recipient area can help draw them out and help!

Karan,
Shaving your head with a razor won’t do anything to alleviate the scalp itch. The itch you are experiencing is either from the healing of the recipient area or follicular activity going on beneath the scalp.
However, you won’t lose any transplanted hair by shaving your head 45 days out from surgery. The follicles are strong and secure underneath the scalp and when the time comes (3 to 5 months later), your transplanted hair will start to grow. I hope that gives you some comfort.
Best wishes,

Hello I transplant my hair 45 days back. I was getting itching on my head.I couldn’t resist and bald the receipt part with razor after 45 days.I consulted with doctor and he said that there might be a change where hairs dislodge due to shave. I am very much distress. I need your opinion.
