I am searching for a reputable hair transplant clinic in Tennessee.   Dr. Thomas Chu is closest to me, but I don’t know anything about him.   Dr. Fisher in Nashville, Tennessee  comes highly recommended, but the distance might a problem.   I would like information on either of these hair restoration physicians and their expertise please.

Thank you for your inquiry.

At the Hair Transplant Network, we only recommend those hair transplant surgeons  who perform state of the art hair transplantation and have a proven track record of producing quality results.   See our recommendation standards by clicking here.

If you are particular to undergoing hair transplant surgery in the state of Tennesse, I would encourage you to consider Dr. Jack Fisher who is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network as he performs quality follicular unit hair transplantation.   Pat Hennessey, the Publisher of the Hair Transplant Network, Hair Loss Learning Center, and Hair Loss Q&A Blog visited his hair transplant clinic in the summer of 2005 and was quite impressed by his level of experience and credentials.   Unfortunately, at the time Pat visited with him, Dr. Fisher did not have a hair transplant case and thus could not observe surgery.   See more on Pat’s visit to Dr. Fisher’s clinic by clicking here.

Unfortunately, I do not know anything about Dr. Thomas Chu.   In my opinion however, it is better to go with a hair replacement surgeon who is well known for doing state of the art work.   Be sure however,  to spend the necessary time researching these physicians.   I encourage you to use our  hair restoration  forum  as a guide by searching for the surgeon’s last name using the “find” feature.

Remember that hair transplant surgery is a lifetime investment.   In my opinion, selecting a quality hair loss physician is more important than the temporary inconvenience of travel.

Best wishes,
