It’s been 45 days since I had my hair transplant. My skin is slightly pinkish and a bit rough and since only my frontal 40% portion was transplanted, that area looks different from the rest of the area which is bald. How much time does it take for skin to be the same? Is there anything I can do to make it heal faster?
I’m not aware of anything that can speed the process of returning the skin to its natural appearance. If there is a significant amount of existing hair in the recipient area you may find hair loss concealers like Toppik or Nanogen helpful. Also, try to avoid sun exposure which can exacerbate the reddish appearance.
