This question, from a member of our hair loss social community and discussion forums, was answered by a staff physician from Coalition hair transplant clinic Feller Medical:
How soon after a hair transplant can you drink alcohol? I finished up a procedure yesterday. Feeling like a glass or two of wine. I didn’t think to ask my doc. Is this ok?
Definitely speak with your hair restoration clinic. Different doctors will have different restrictions. I ask my hair transplant patients to refrain from drinking alcohol 7-10 days before and 3 days after.
Definitely be careful mixing this with any sort of pain or anti-anxiety medication that may have been provided during or after the procedure.
