Im going to have a hair transplant and I’m wondering if taking MSM is necessary for growth?
MSM for hair growth: According to studies, MSM is rich in sulfur and sulfur is present in the keratinized cells of hair. Sulfur has the ability to form strong bonds that make healthy hair stronger. MSM is a natural and highly soluble source of sulfur that can be easily absorbed in the body. MSM can help with the formation of keratin in the nails, skin and hair.
MSM necessary post hair transplant: MSM is a sulfur compound that is found in plants, animals and humans. Some individuals claim that it can treat hair loss and speed up hair growth. However, there isn’t enough scientific evidence to support the claims of hair growth from MSM supplementation. Therefore, the use of MSM is not necessary post hair restoration surgery. With that said, MSM is a natural and safe supplement to take and there is at least some anecdotal evidence online that suggest it may help with hair growth so it would not hurt to try it, but it is certainly not necessary.

Hi,
I had a hair transplant last Tuesday. I have been given sime guidelines regarding participating in physical activity again. I am an amateur football player and I have been told not to play contact sports/football for one month. Can you confirm this please?
Thank you
Luke
