This common question comes from a member of our hair loss social community and discussion forums:
I’m want to start using Rogaine (minoxidil) to stabilize my hair loss, but it’s not available for purchase in my country. Is there a trusted site where I can order it online?
Prescriptions medications are medications which require the authorization of a trained physician, and these (in my opinion) should not be ordered online without a valid order from a certified doctor. Propecia (finasteride) falls into this category of hair loss drugs.
Non-prescription medications are therapies available without a written prescription or evaluation from a physician. Although it’s always best to consult with a trusted physician before starting any medication (prescription or otherwise), these drugs do not require physician authorization, and therefore can usually be purchased “over the counter” in a store or ordered online. Rogaine (minoxidil) falls into this category of hair loss therapies.
However, although minoxidil can be ordered online, it should still be ordered from a trusted, reviewed site. Knowing this, I always personally recommend that hair loss sufferers living in countries without easy access to minoxidil/Rogaine order the product from our online hair loss treatment shop.
If individuals would like to order minoxidil from a different source, it’s important to make sure it is reviewed and trusted. Additionally, it’s always best to discuss any hair loss medication regimen with a hair restoration physician before ordering it online.
