Shock Loss after Hair Transplant Surgery: How Common Is It?

How much should I realistically worry about shock loss? I know it happens and while I am aware that it takes months to see positive impact from the [tag]hair transplant[/tag], I am really concerned about the additional [tag]hair loss[/tag] potentially making me look more [tag]bald[/tag] for months before there is any substantial improvement. Any thoughts?

Shock loss is always a possibility when placing [tag]follicular unit[/tag] grafts around existing hairs. The more unhealthy the original hairs are, the better the chance they can shed post-operatively from shock.

Although it is not easy, sometimes you have to try and focus on the bigger picture and long term [tag]hair growth[/tag].
