The Role of Hair Transplant Techs in Delivering Excellent Results
Unfortunately, hair restoration technicians are seldom recognized for the hard work they do every day in assisting reputable surgeons deliver only the best results to their patients. And though it’s the surgeons who are prescreened and ultimately approved for recommendation on the Hair Transplant Network, a hair transplant physician is only as good as his/her technicians.
Today’s state of the art hair replacement procedures could never be performed by one person. A qualified physician requires and experienced and dedicated team of assistants to properly dissect and carefully place grafts into recipient sites.
A physician however, must be responsible at all times not only for their own skill and technique, but for what goes on under his/her supervision. This includes properly training and managing staff. If even one hair restoration technician is out of sync, a patient’s results can suffer dramatically and will inevitably and rightfully fall back on the physician.
