This question comes from a member of our [tag]hair loss[/tag] social community and discussion forums:
I have thinning in my crown (vertex) and I would like to restore the region with [tag]hair transplant surgery[/tag]. However, I don’t have many scalp grafts left in my donor region and would like to use [tag]body hair[/tag] grafts ([tag]body hair transplantation[/tag] or [tag]BHT[/tag]). Is it possible to restore the crown with body hair transplantation?
It would probably be useful to consult with several trusted [tag]body hair transplant[/tag] experts. Garner their input and thoroughly consider what they recommend. However, I would be hesitant when it comes to booking a procedure. BHT is a difficult and technical process, and you don’t want to end up with unsatisfactory results.
However, if you do have viable donor hair left this should definitely be used before body hair grafts. Scalp hair is always more natural and preferred for restoration of any region of the scalp.
