Why Is My Local Hair Restoration Physician Not Recommended by the Hair Transplant Network?
I am planning on having a 1500-2000 graft hair transplant done in the very near future. I am from Iowa and have been considering a local hair restoration surgeon. His credentials seem outstanding but I am wondering if there is any reason why he is not recommended by the Hair Transplant Network.
I plan on paying an upfront cost of nearly $7000 for this surgery and have been saving for nearly 2 years. It is essential I find a reputable physician. Like I said, this physician seems like a qualified, legitimate hair transplant surgeon but I am also considering Shapiro Medical Group in MN. They probably have one of the best reputations in the industry.
I am very happy to have found this site as it has much information that has helped me make this decision. Thanks so much!
I’m happy to hear that you’ve found our community a valuable resource in making your hair transplant decision. We are confident that the hair restoration physicians we recommend are performing state of the art follicular unit hair transplantation and are among the finest in the world. However, it’s important to note that our recommendation list is not comprehensive.
To become recommended by the Hair Transplant Network, a surgeon must first express interest in participating in our community and then follow through by presenting examples of their work and inviting the scrutiny of their peers and the patient members of our community. Though I am not familiar with the work of all hair transplant surgeons across the US and the world, I can confirm that Coalition physicians Dr. Ron Shapiro and Dr. Paul Shapiro are both skilled and experienced and are producing consistently excellent results.
